Hand Renderings

These hand renderings depict the Austin Premium King Room at Hotel 1928 in Waco, Texas. Originally constructed in 1928 as the Grand Karem Shrine Building, the property reflects the historic architectural character of the early twentieth century. The 2023 restoration carefully preserved key historic features while adapting the space for modern hospitality. Distinctive arched windows showcase the building’s original design, allowing natural light to warm and highlight the interior, while warm wood tones, layered textures, and classic furnishings create a comfortable, inviting environment.
